About For Better Brains

Our Story

For Better Brains was founded in 2023  by citizens who saw a need for better mental health resources, guidance, & advocacy in our community. We are focused on key areas of Mental Health Care & Awareness 

  • A Strong Advocate for Severe Mental Illness in San Diego County 
  • Grass Roots Fund Raising to provide grants for basic needs
  • Education in  our communities & community building

Our Team

Our team is made up of small business owners, educators, film makers, and mental health specialists, who are passionate about supporting mental health and wellness in our community.

We partner with a variety of organizations and businesses in our community to connect & fill the missing links of mental health care in San Diego County

If you're interested in applying for a grant, start by applying here and filling in all of the information. Once the grant request is submitted, all board members are notified and we then have a 48 hour turnaround on Approval or Disapproval.  Thank You
